Looking at the ghost as he departed he couldn't help but think one thought, 'Who the hell is this ghost!?'

Mathelar, and Quol retired to seperate rooms to rest for the night, tomorrow they headed for Skingrad. A city popular by its beauty and expensive living costs, only the rich and famous people of the time lived there. 'Finding that book store and then the author, will be difficult' he thought as he looked at his reflection in a mirror.
He had disheveled brown hair, yellowish golden eyes looking back at him, he started to organize his hair into a ponytail. Satisfied with the hair work, he went to his bed and went to sleep, dreaming of the mystery his life currently had, and the adventure it would follow.

It was dawn, Mathelar and Quol were up and ready for the journey, and where currently in front of the estate staring at Eedgray. "Eedgray...Even though we've had a shaky past, I want to say thank you for letting me close this hate filled chapter of my life" the hybrid said, Eedgray nodded with a glint in his eyes, "It is of no problem Mathelar" he said.
Then Eedgray did something Mathelar didn't expect, he hugged him...In the way a father hugs you after he realized his mistakes, "I'm truly sorry, Mathelar" he sobbed as he hugged him harder. Slowly Mathelar hugged him back, Eedgray cried harder, "Your mother would have been so proud of you" he cried as he let him go, "You can thank her for teaching me mannners and my way of life...She once said to me this, 'Never give up, but never live in hate and revenge, if you do, you'll become what you hate'" he said finally remembereing her wise words, and feeling shamed at finally remembering that here.
"She was a good woman, Mathelar...I hope she's in heaven smiling down upon you" he said as Mathelar and Quol started leaving, "Bye Eedgray!" he yelled as Eedgray smiled and then looked at the sky. "Good Bye! My son" he muttered the last part, as he continued looking at the sky, "I did it, my dear...I truly miss you Lahji, my dear wife" he said before entering the Estate.

"Servants, Workers, Guards, and esteemed Allies!!!" yelled Eedgray as he stood on a balcony outlooking over a crowd of said workers, servants, and guards. Besides him stood two Boar men decked in several fancy clothes, indicating a high position.
"The time has come for you to oversee your final duty in this world!" he said loudly as two braziers underneath the balcony started flaring up, as the eyes of the crowd and boar men slowly started glazing over.
Eedgray smirked, "Go to the barracks, and arm yourself, your role is soon to be going to be accomplished" he said as he then smiled at the crowd. The crowd in unison started to disperse to the barracks, Eedgray then beckoned his allies inside, away from the impending incident to occur.

An hour later...
Mathelar now found himself in front of the Eedgray Estate, fur disheveled, eyes red, a few leaves in his fur. Mathelar then looked at the Estate entrance as it was being opened, sprinting to the entrance he entered prepared to yell for Eedgray. The call died before it was yelled.
No one was present, no servants, guards nor workers. The guards that were supposed to be on the wall were not there, neither were the gate guards.

Arching a eyebrow, Mathelar then crossed the massive lawn over to the door, being cautious. Rapping his knuckles on the door for a minute, he then grabbed the door's handle, he slowly twisted the door knob and lightly pushed the door in.
Light filtered inside the mansion as Mathelar stepped in front of the door, slightly blocking the light as he then stepped inside the mansion. "Master Mathelar, this way please" said a voice in front of him, slightly wary he continued further inside the mansion.
Following the voice, it lead him to a closed door from which he could hear two voices talking, as if arguing. "-s the diary of Her, and such, she left explicit instructions for this to be given to him, when he was of age" the voice seemed to argue, "Are you sure? This is the point of no return...Think wisely, m'liege" another voice countered. "This will lead us nowhere...Come Ralehtam, we have more pressing issues to discuss further here, especially considering Eedgray and Lahji" the original voice ended and a sound of a door opening and closing followed.

Bewildered, Mathelar then broke into the room without incident.
Seeing it as a normal room, by Eedgray's standards. He then found the discussed diary, failing to ignore it, he opened it and the pages inside would forever change his aspect of his life:
Day 5,475
To my son, Mathelar
You may be suprised to see a diary page belonging to your mother directed to you, I just wanted to say how pride you have made me...and how I utterly hate you. Yes, my son! Ever since I concieved you, I loathed you, but I held my anger in favor of fake love, warmth and kindness. He concieved to ever have you, all in favor of his plans. I utterly love this man, not unlike the love I gave you. He convinced me daily to keep going not to kill you at my hands, for you serve an important part of his plan. I may be dead, but know that your mother hates every part of your being.
Loathing, Lahji

His eyes widened, staring at the palm of his hands, now free of his mother's diary, which lay at Mathelar's feet.
Mathelar's vision narrowed, breathing became harder, the room started to swirl, he tried to walk straight but his balanced failed him.
'That was mother's signature' he thought while he lay on the floor, 'Nobody could have forged it'. For the mother of Mathelar, Lahji, used a certain combination of dyes and peculiar form of signing.
Mathelar slowly got up, using a nearby chair to stabilize, he got out of the room. He only heard the swish of air and darkness embraced him.
A shadow stood above Mathelar, shards of a broken lamp at the shadows feet...

Mathelar groaned, "My Head" he moaned as he stood from the cot in which he layed in, slowly soothing the bruise on the back of his head with his right hand.
After a few moments, pain dulled but still present, he observed his surroundings. He was in a open cell that was at the back of a long narrow corridor, dimly lighted by braziers separated 10 feet from each other, in the distance he could make out a wooden door, light escaping under it.
As he got out of the cell, and proceeded to the wooden door, he saw wooden and metal beams along the wall supporting the corridor he was in. 'It looks like I'm underground, but where underground exactly?' he asked himself as he inspected the wooden door. Observing that it was unlocked, he cautiously opened it and what he saw beyond the door shocked him.

Mathelar saw humanoid ferret creatures toiling away on the tunnel walls, in which he concluded where he currently was, a mine, not a local mine but Eedgray's mine, nearby the mansion. The man-ferrets wore only loin cloths barely covering the essentials, sweat glistening from their fur; the women-ferrets wore leather bras and the same loin clothes as the men.
Mathelar saw all around the tunnel were five guards and a hooded figure giving orders to the guards. The Khajiit then checked his gear, all was accounted for, he narrowed his eyes, he was going to free the obvious slaves from Eedgray's clutches.

"Get back to work, mutt!" yelled a guard to a female ferret as she rested briefly, the guard sneered and took out his whip. Ready to attack, the guard reared back and lashed out.
Something grabbed his whip, he looked back and saw darkness...
Mathelar kneeled over the guard's dead body, the female ferret staring at him in fear. He continued to plunder the guard's pocket, and then turned his gaze to the female.
Standing tall, he walked towards her, and offered his hand. The female ferret too fearful of him didn't accept his hand. He then kneeled and looked straight into her eyes, he then offered his hand again. The female still fearful, cautiously accepted his hand, and got up from the floor.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you" Mathelar said as the female ferret let go of his hand, "What's your name?" he asked her. "N-Name? My name...is Fera" she said, her voice raspy from not being used in a long time. "Well, Fera, I'm going to free you and your going to hide for a while, how does that sound?" he asked her. "Why?" she asked him.
"Simple, I loathe slavery, as well as guards who abuse their power, now go hide" he said as he broke her shackles on her ankle. She did as he ordered.
Mathelar then backed into the mine wall, and let the shadow's cover his form...

A while later...
Mathelar already had disposed of the other four guards, now the one left, was the one who gave the guards their orders.
Mathelar was now seeing the hooded figure's back, hiimself still in the shadows, "Come out Mathelar, I know your there" said the figure. Mathelar stayed where he was.
"Now, now Mathelar, do as I say or this baby gets it" the figure said turning to where Mathelar was, Arthas sleeping in it's hands. Mathelar resigned himself and walked into the light.
"Now was that so hard?" the figure asked, Mathelar didn't answer. "Were going to play a little game now...A fight between you and me, winner gets out and gets the baby...Loser dies" it said as vines sprouted from the ground, forming a crib, the figure set Arthas inside, still sleeping.
"Now, Mathelar get ready! GO!!" the figure yelled...

Sparks flew, as the metal of the staff the hooded foreman and Mathelar's daggers met. "You are strong Mathelar, but not strong enough for what will come at you in the future" the hooded figure said, the voice of the hooded figure very familiar to Mathelar.
Both withdrew and Mathelar lunged at the foreman, who barely evaded the lunge. The Foreman twirled his staff and slammed it to the ground, vines sprouted and lunged for Mathelar, who avoided a majority of them before being speared by one in his right forearm, which then wrapped itself in the forearm and dragged Mathelar to the Foreman.
More vines speared Mathelar, one in the left forearm, right thigh, left shoulder, and right leg. All vines wrapped themselves around the wound and the appendage they speared, and dragged Mathelar faster to the Foreman.
The vines hoisted Mathelar up to the Foremans head height, blood passed through crevices in the passes between vines. "Mathelar, Mathelar, Mathelar...You have disappointed me so" the hooded foreman said, feigning disappointment.

Mathelar stared at the hooded Foreman, it's voice familiar to him. Both daggers still in his hands, unmoving. "Now we can't have this, can we?" it rhetorically asked, as vines surrounded Mathelar's wrists and started putting pressure into them. "Come on Mathy, let go of your daggers" the foreman asked sweetly.
Mathelar froze, both daggers fell from his hand to the mine floor, "W-What did you call me?" he asked.
The Foreman tilted its head, "So you finally figured it out, uh?" it asked. The foreman then gripped both sides of his hood, and pulled it back, her face being shown.
"M-M-Mokkie?" Mathelar asked as Mokkie nodded, "Yes, Mathelar, it is me Mokko...It's sad that things had to come this way...But orders are orders, know that I have nothing against you though" she said, raising her staff to deliver the killing blow.
Mathelar lowered his head, muttering below hearing level. Several of the Ferret humanoids were now watching the situation, Fera being one of them.
Mokkie attacked, Fera screamed, Mathelar yelled, and the staff was embedded...
