Aeron's Palace, The Crumbling of the Stone

Kari sprawls onto a cold marble floor, every bone aching madly from that horrid journey. Standing up she turns to her left and right to find she was in a castle. Or from what she could tell, a castle. Taking a small walk through what seemed to her as a hallway, she spotted nothing of royal or fancy bearing. No rugs, none of the strange human trinkets, void of candles, no gold or silver, only marble. Whatever light that lit her surroundings seemed to come from down the curve of the hallways end. Tired of being trapped in this stone...thing, Kari threw out her hand and spoke dragoonian spell-words. A wyrm of pure light spiraled out of her hand and flew through the hallway and turning at the curve, Kari rushing behind it. As she turned the hallway looked the same.
And the next hallway looked the same.
And the next.
And the next.

Desperate to find some way out, Kari tried calling for help.
"Is anyone there?"
She would keep asking, but to no avail would she hear an answer.
Link?? Zeth?! Are any of you there??
None of her friends answered... What she was definately not hoping for...

Kari forced her head to the left. Nothing was there...
"Hello??"
Running towards where she heard the voice, she heard it yet again.

It was farther away... And telling her to come?
Kari kept her pace and ran towards wherever she heard the voice as it called.
Unsure of anyway other to get out, she followed...

Kari heard the voice no more... It stopped for some reason.
"Where did you go? Are you still there?"
[shadow=red,left,300]I am here...[/shadow]
Kari turned her head and saw a little girl with tears running down her face staring at her with a sad expression.
Kari, surprised at this, kneeled towards the girl and looked her straight in the eye.
"Can you please help me get out of here?"
She asked the girl.

She's...umm....Aeronian, actually. But her wings are bat wings rather due to her demonic turning and at the moment are hidden.))

All Aeronians have either white, grey, red, blue, or black wings (not black usually though...)
Those that become tainted and blah go through a strange effect that turns their enormous dove-like wings into demonic bat wings. its awesome lolz))

Kari gasped and stumbled backwards, just in time to dodge the blow the girl-turned-creature thrust at her.
She managed to dodge another and she flew up above the creature, her staff at the ready.
Just as she did that, she glanced in one of the mirrors lining the chamber. Not only did they show the child's true demonic form, but...
She thought she saw a figure cloaked in shadow greys and blacks that were as dark as the night itself. As soon as she noticed it though, it had faded away..
The demon is playing tricks on me..I know it!! Well, I'll not stop fighting till I find Link again!
With this, and not another thought about what she had saw, she readied her staff and prepared for battle.

The demon flamed with black fire, green eyes staring back. Smoke emitted and crept from its sides, the eyes flaring red every few seconds. It was in the shape of a humanoid bat at the moment, releasing enormous velvety black wings and pounding off into the air, flying down the corridor and circling back, it's fangs outstretched towards Kari.
