The knight was hit but merely bobbed to the side for a few seconds before throwing out his hand. The sword as it flew halted in midair and like an arrow darted back into his hands.
The knight readied the sword and melted back into the wall.
((Note--Degaro can draw power from the wall since he is shadow, but he cannot control it. It's bound to the knights control only.))

This isn't going to work....
Degaro raises his hand.
"Gendaga Dagesn....."
A twili blast strikes the knight in the arm and it blasts the armor clean off. Degaro then charges at the knight with his sword at the ready.

The knight twirls his sword and sends it out flying towards Degaro when nearly at the full ready--
But, Degaro was still managing to swing his blade. The blade seemed to glow with a pale blue fire for a mere second after it slashed through an invisible space where an arm would occupy the knight.
Yes!
Just as he had suspected...
There was, in fact, a way to attack.
((the only reason that worked was because I'm guessing Degaro's weapon was forged in the temple of shadow... >_> giving it elemental prowess of that element, allowing it to attack as if a spell.
Note--in our game, that's a handy weapon for a mage looking to go full offense on a knight and deal massive damage through armor....Not so much for rangers/other mages.))

Degaro vanishes and appears behind the knight as his sword starts to glow again.
"Heh.."
As the knight starts to turn, Degaro swings at the knight's torso and it goes through the armor with no resistance but then the part of the blade that's inside the knight then turns solid agian and starts slicing through the knight.
"Now...."
Degaro stops half way and turns the blade upward and it goes straight throught the knight's head. The blade then goes through the helm just like how he got through the armor and degaro jumps back 10 feet.
"Hmph...."

The knight does not move for a few seconds, as if stunned. And then a seeming energy pulsed through the air.
The knight whipped around and grabbed Degaro's neck with a spiky hand and with a great powerful toss threw him straight into the wall, following up with a set of spiky fingers straight into the upper left of his chest.
The knight's eyes of red flare and die down, being replaced by a new color now.
Green.

Well, didn't see that coming...
Degaro grabs the knights hand and kicks the knight in the head and knocks it back a couple feet. As Degaro lands on his feet he coughs up some blood.
"Drat...."
Degaro readies his sword, charges, and brings the sword around to the knight's legs.

The knight backflips and as he faces back towards Degaro his eyes shoot bolts of lightning towards him.
...
And as soon as they meet Degaro's, they seem not to be harmed whatsoever.
Great! Degaro's shadow was the perfect match for the knight...
But...yet...at a cost...
Zeth drifts into the same spot as Degaro resided before he was released, meaning in this realm Zeth could entirely be trapped forever.
This, sadly, might not be good.
((don't worry, I don't mean Zeth's goodbyebye. At the moment he needs to try and... ready himself and keep from being trapped as Degaro was. Maybe... they should work together? meh...
I dunno...))

Degaro swings the sword upward at the knights head but stops an inch away from the helm and Degaro jumps back clutching his head.
"What the heck?"
Degaro drops his sword and it clatters on the floor.
"Graahhhh!!!!!"
Suddenly astral mana and twilight mana starts simultaniously flowing for Degaro and his hair starts turning a dark shade of blue.
What is this....?
Suddenly a figure only visable to Degaro appears.
You....
[glow=navy,2,300]Hello...Degaro...[/glow]
This fight is mine! I won't let you take control!!!
[glow=navy00]I had no intention of interfering, but something is drawing our souls together....[/glow]
What!?!?!
[glow=navy,2,300]I know, but we have no choice at the moment...you will just have to deal with me for a bit...oh, and look out...[/glow]
The knight charges at Degaro with it's sword at the ready, but Degaro knocks it away with the back of his arm and lands his fist right in the knight's chest and throws it back a couple yards.
"Sorry....but you won't get me that easily...."
Degaro slowly picks up his sword and also draws arenkar with his other hand.
'Now...[glow=navy,2,300]...let us continue'[/glow]
As those last words were being said, Degaro's eyes turned silver but the pupils stayed the same four pointed star shape.
[glow=navy,2,300]"Graahhh!!!!"[/glow]
Degaro charges with both swords at the knight.

((LOLZ I knew you were  muhuhahahahahaha *thinks of the PURE AWESOMENESS OF ZETH/DAMEUS/DEGARO KILL-EVERYTHINGINESS IN THE MEMORIES STORYLINE*)) The knight stuck out his blade and caught DegaroZeth's ((that's what im gonna call you in this form for now >_@)) blades perfectly in a cross shape. The knight began to add pressure and go cut through the X shaped blades, finally stabbing with the last of his strength and knocking DegaroZeth HARD on the head, nearly giving him a full blackout. |

The scene seems to stay still, until The amount of mana being produced from DegaroZeth's body start to increase drastically.

Suddenly, dark bule flames erupt down the knight's sword and makes him release it and DegaroZeth pulls it out of his own gut.
[glow=navy,2,300]"Aureola...."[/glow]
The wounds in DegaroZeth's body starts to heal very quickly.
[glow=navy,2,300]"Gendaga...Aether....."[/glow]
DegaroZeth's body starts to disappear and six figures appear in a pentagonal formation around the knight but two other figures appear above the knight, one representing astra, and the other representing twilight.
[glow=navy,2,300]"Now...Die...."[/glow]
All the sorcera magics, in both astral and twilight forms, collide on the knight simultaniously. All the while invisible blades start striking through the knight's armor. Then, in a flash of light, the knight has his own sword through his heart.
((If he survives, he is an inch from death.....most likely....I think....))

((I didn't mean cut cut, I meant... pretend the X is the two blades in a cross motion, guarding the knight's blade forcing down in the V part of the top. So, in the X cross of DegaroZeth's blades they're beginning to part evenly, to where the V part expands more as the cross is lessening more into a wide V, trying to stay the blow from the knight's blade. I didn't break them, I'm forcing harder and harder to their center points to try and force you to drive out of the X/V, whichever you'd prefer, to falter your defensive manuever and strike straight through you. Arenkar isn't able to break like that yet >_@)) The knight turns to stare down at his blade. It was piercing straight through his armor. For any normal man, he would have died instantaneously... But this knight was no normal man. A pulse... It broke through the air. DegaroZeth turned his head to stare at the knight's eyes. They flared fore a mere second, and then something near indescribable happened. The knight's sword pierced straight through the knight and fell onto the ground. DegaroZeth was in an instant blown back into the wall. As he hit it full force, black tentacle things rose out of the sludge and held him on the wall. He was beginning to be drawn in. The knight's armor suddenly shattered, leaving whatever spirit lay within to die amongst the room. Falling to the ground, it's black red and green flames faded into nothing, the sludge sinking as we-... ... WHERE IS SHE?!Wouldn't you like to know...Haha!!TELL ME NOW YOU *****, TELL ME!!If you insist...YOU-...Aaah!!DegaroZeth turned to the cieling and heard an enormous crack. What are you trying to- Grah!!You are fun to bother, hehaha!!I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!The sound of two swords meeting rang harshly through the air, a resonation pulsing across the enormous area. Then you'll never get her back, eh?...******************Haha!!DegaroZeth forced himself out of the sludgy tentacle bonds and ran towards the center of the room, grabbing the knight's sword just in case, and turning to face the cieling. I WANT WHAT YOU STOLE FROM HER!Then come get it...Haha!!DIE YOU ******The cieling cracked suddenly, crystal parting. A shower of sparks fell down from the scrapings of each and every individual rock. HAH!! NOW YOU DIE![/I] ...Never!HrrraaaaaAAAAAA-DegaroZeth fell to the ground, rocks flying from the cieling. Thunder blew through the edges of every corner, nook, and cranny. And he heard no more... ((MUHUHAHAHAHAHA!! Nobody get's to fight Dameus/Skul'Kera yet meeheehaahaa! He's back in the ever realm now...[the normal realm])) |

((Well it's to late for that though...I already posted that the knight had broken it...or was it really the knight? oh, makes you wonder....))
DegaroZeth stabs the sword into the ground and looks back at the shape of the broken arenkar as he starts to change back into Zeth.
"How...did it break...."
Zeth picks up the shards of Arenkar and identifies the edges of the shards.
These weren't broken by a sword....
Zeth puts the shards in the sheath in the correct order and casts a spell so it won't fall out.
"I better rest up here...."
Zeth sits down on a pile of rubble and recuperates.

After an hour or so of rest, Zeth stands and looks down one of the hallways.
I wonder what's down there....
Zeth starts down the hallway and comes to a large set of doors.
"Hmm...."
Zeth pushes the doors open and walks into a large libary.
"Wow..."
Zeth starts looking at the titles of the tomes, though most were in the shadow language, until he came across a few that caught his eye.
"Hmm...interesting..."
Zeth picked out the tomes and started to look through them.

Out of the corner of his eye, Zeth is startled by what appears to be a figure claoked in fire reds and magma oranges.
"Hey..!" He turns to what he saw, but nothing is there.
"It's probably just this place...this castle. It was nothing.
He moves back to his books.

Zeth closes his book and turns around and sees Degaro's illusion forming beside him.
"What is it?"
"Why are you reading that thing....it's only a bunch of chemistry, elements, and that sorta junk...."
Zeth sighs and opens his book again.
"If I used the notes in this book, I could create a new sword...maybe even find out what Arenkar is made of and repair it...."
"Pfft...Like that's ever going to happen....."
Zeth snaps the book shut and starts walking around the room.
There have to be some raw materials around here somewhere......
Zeth comes to a flight of stairs leading downward into darkness.
Hmmm.....
Zeth walks down the stairs and into the abyss.
