...
dimarex arrived at the castle and opened the door. he silently walked down to the animal chamber. ... he reached it and found all the animals were silently asleep. dimarex walked through and began searching for some sort of hidden door... ... finally he found something he thought would be close. he lit a torch and with its dancing light searched for some sort of indentation or switch. ... he saw none. finally he remembered something he had been taught. "In doubt with flame, light, dark, all tethered the truth is found with the power of ether." it was a teaching he was taught by zodack to help him whenever he was searching for hidden things. dimarex began to think hard for some sort of teaching that had to do with astra... ... ... yes! he was taught the spell that made the north star grow brighter as the rest dimmed to make finding it easier. he turned to the wall and muttered the incantation. ... suddenly he saw the outline of a sort of door appear, it was a spidering light that spread from one crack to another and another until it spiraled around to form a doorlike figure. dimarex, pleased with his remembrance skills, tried to find some sort of way to push through the door. he finally decided he could just use a bit of earth magii. he focused his power into his hand, fatigued to the brink of fainting, and he finally moved the blocks and they spidered into a hallway. dimarex walked through and torches suddenly were illuminated. he spotted a door at the very end. he walked slowly towards it, about to see elasia on the other side... ... finally... he pulled on the latch and ripped open the door. ... it was an altar. dimarex curiously walked up to it and noticed that there was a trident stuck in a pedastal. it was beautiful and shimmering. it was a gold with silver ends...it was majestic... dimarex moved to pull it up from the altar and suddenly heard a burst far off. a voice soon followed. "FIND HER!!! WE MUST HAVE THE WYVERN!!!" dimarex suddenly flared with a raging furiosity. it was the Skul'Kerath!!! dimarex pulled out the trident as he suddenly felt energy flow from it into him... but he then nearly tripped. he couldnt bear this weight... ... it... the trident would have to wait... but he would need it, he was sure... the Skul'Kerath could be heard closer now. but...he needed elasia!... dimarex belted the trident and with all of his might ran. he saw there was another hallway leading out of the altar. he would go that way. he met another door. he pushed it open. he kept doing this for quite q while, but the Skul'Kerath were advancing quickly. finally dimarex pushed open a door but he could not bear the weight any longer. his back, his body could not take it. he had wasted too much energy and he would pay the price for it. and just as he fell he saw the silhouette of a man on a dragon... and he could have sworn he heard words in his head... ...Dameus...

*** ... dimarex woke...he was so tired...pain gripped him and his eyes were so heavy he couldnt lift them. he could hear faint mumbling. what was going on? he demanded to know. ... Dameus? ... would he answer? of course... yes...? he felt pressure on himself suddenly. I have missed you...But rest. You must rest now. yet just as dimarex was about to answer he was hushed. suddenly he felt her mind form a barrier around his and he didnt feel alone for once. he fell into a sleep, glad to be reunited. ...
... dimarex stirred. Elasia...? suddenly he felt a warm mind touch his. Yes, Dameus? ...Why...why did you never send me a sign?...something... silence. The answer will come with time. Rest, you need it much. dimarex, not up to arguing, drifted back to sleep. ...
... dimarex opened his eyes. he was outside...in some forest of a sort. he looked to check if he and elasia were the only ones. they were. he could have sworn he saw zodack mounted on elasia before though... ...he could only wonder. Dameus? Are you fatigued anymore? it took a few moments and he answered. No. But please answer my questions now. he felt the pressure release and noticed he was held next to her by her wing. he rolled out from the side and winced as he felt the pain from all of the wounds that decorated his body now. Are you o- I'm fine. ...Then what is it you want to know about? dimarex turned around and looked at elasia. she had grown. she was now nearly the size of a small hill. she was about two hundred feet long and was much thicker than when he last saw her. her face was wider and had a fierce glare that wyverns developed. her wings were enormous. they could have reached probably around an entire castle side...give or take fifty feet. her claws could have been mistaken for unordinarily large scimitars and her teeth were as good as broadswords. her tail was long and thick and could have easily swept trees out from the ground like mushrooms. dameus stared at her for a few seconds, taking in the immense change from when he last saw her. "Why did you never try and contact me?" she frowned with her eyes and answered him. Zodack kept me under strict instruction not to contact you for it may distract you from your practices. "WHAT?! HE WOULD KEEP ME FROM KNOWING JUST SO I COULD PRACTICE?!?!" Dimarex was flaring with pure rage and furiosity. elasia patiently waited for him to calm down before she spoke. "Sorry...as you were saying..." Yes. He wanted you to grow like I have so you may be strong in battle. You aren't strong in this realm as you were in the other. I needed training even, so I would get taught every so often. dimarex was immensely angry now. "Didn't you want to find me?! I dearly missed someone to talk to...And it was all because of practice?! I was about to go mad!!" And how do you think I felt Dameus? Sometimes I went mad because I could not contain the thought of nobody to talk to. I had to sit in here for days on end before zodack would find me and I could talk to someone. I would sometimes try to reach out to your mind but he would block me and make sure you were meditating or keeping your mind at bay. dimarex was silent. "I just missed you...And now...Now the rest are possibly dead. Where is Zodack anyway?..." He left to drive away the Skul'Kerath from the castle. We will begin a journey towards their fort for an interrogation. We plan to meet up with the others on the way there if all goes according to plan. It will take a few days to get there...maybe a week if things go smoothly. Until then it would be wisest to rest your mind and anger. Your questions will be answered with time. dimarex was silent, a ball of flaming anger and a block of ice filled with longing. Why...why did they prevent him? why was he always the one who got tossed around...as if he had no will... he was basically a puppet. zodack...he was training elasia to ride her into battle... and what about weak little 'dameus'? they would just leave him behind. he whipped around angrily and slumped on a tree and crossed his arms. "So we just wait?" That's the plan for now. "Fine. I will listen to you guys for now...But I am not a child. I can make decisions on my own." elasia did not respond. finally a few moments later. Please do not do anything ignorant. It's for your own goo- "I DON'T CARE IF ITS FOR MY OWN GOOD! I AM NOT A CHILD! I CAN MAKE DECISIONS FOR MYSELF!" dimarex pulled off his scarf and laid it down so he could use it as a makeshift pillow. "Wake me when he gets here..." he could feel elasias concern cloak him. I love you Dameus, don't forget that. dimarex spoke weakly as sleep began to pull over him. And I you...Just as much...Good night. Very. ... ***

Dimarex woke with a start. he leapt up as he was lunged at by zodack who was wielding a shining blade. "You can't get me that easily old man!" dimarex spoke too soon. he was thrown face first into the hard earth. cursing with a muddy mouth he got up out of the mud and wiped off his face in disgust from all of the soft earth that covered it. "You will have to learn much in this time before we reach the Skul'Kerath fortress. Best start now. dimarex grumbled and stepped up to his feet. He is right. This will be no easy feat. dimarex softly swore. "So...When do we begin?" zodack laughed and raised his blade. "We already have! Now come at me!" dimarex smirked and dashed towards zodack with his daggers pointed out in front of him. as soon as zodack moved to block his attack dimarex leapt into the air and landed on his blade. zodack laughed and as dimarex was about to plunge his daggers into the old man he was thrown a hundred feet back to find when he stepped up zodack was five feet away about to slash him. he raised his blade in front of him in a guarding fashion but was tossed aside simply by the back of zodacks hand. as dimarex was tossed his head hit a rock and he blacked out. ... *** ... dimarex leapt to his feet and suddenly fell back down. his mind was groggy. "Don't move too much. Your head was injured." dimarex raised his hand to his forehead to find it was swathed lightly by a damp warm cloth. "So? I've had worse." dimarex winced and got to his feet and walked over to zodack who was calmly fixing lunch over a fire. "Elasia has left to fetch us a few necessities we may need on our journey. For now we wait for her to come back." dimarex nodded stiffly, suddenly remembering his dark thoughts he now had about zodack. "Why did you keep her secret?!" zodack did not hesitate while he was stirring a pot full of liquid and some chopped vegetables. "She told you already. So that you wouldn't be distracted from your training." dimarex was enraged. "And for that excuse you kept me from my only friend that came with me into this realm?! This realm of which I knew none of?!" "Yes." dimarex flared with anger. he kept trying to impersonate zodack, but to no avail. he was refraining from anymore questions until elasia came back. and so dimarex sat on a rotting log twiddling his thumbs and practicing his knowledge of the magicks. finally at the beginning of dusk they felt an enormous gust engulf them and dimarex turned to find elasia was gracefully touching down with afew bundles tied to her back. they were full with an assortment of things but nothing dimarex couldnt make out. "Anything special happen?" asked dimarex. No, nothing much. A couple of small puny animals every so often tried to run away with a few things but I made sure they wouldn't have chances to get any of it. dimarex smirked and rose up off of the log and stretched. Anything special happen over here while I was gone? "No.It was quite boring." zodack was busy tying off the sacks and bags from her back and grudgingly picked up things that would fall down and get lost in the large amounts of brush. dimarex walked up and helped the old man and after a few minutes worth of work they finished getting down all of the items and checking which ones were which. after they were done and sorted everything out in different bundles and groups they finally tied them all up and strapped them back onto elasia. zodack then with dimarex's help start dinner. once the broth was done and the ham was cooked finely they took them out and with some small wooden bowls they began to eat for the day ahead. finally once they were done dimarex was going to ask questions. "Zodack? Why are there people in this realm with similar names to my friends i knew in the other realm? I don't think it could be coincidence." zodack finished a few gulps of his soup and answered calmly. "It is coincidence." dimarex did not believe it. "No. It can't. It's all too similar. Zerith Guridon and Zeth Gurido. Zeth Gurido was my friend from the other realm but before he got to his current occupation as a mighty mage, he was an assassin. Just yesterday I was captured by an assassin and his name was Zerith Guridon. And I am positive there can be no coincidences between them." zodack halted dimarex's speaking with his hand and answered. "It may not be coincidence, but it is most likely. There is nothing linking this world to the other. There is nothing related between them. Nothing is linked between which means that no connections are wrought, so its either coincidence or your mind playing tricks." dimarex was still not convinced but decided to tay off the thought for a little bit. "If theres no other answer for that question, than I have another. Why did the Skul'Kerath say you were planning to ride Elasia into battle? I don't understand... Unless that is your intention. She is my wyvern." zodack finished off his soup and was now eating the ham. "Simple. We had none of our animals to ride back to our fortress with. When we found Elasia, she was within one of the holding chambers and was chained. We released her and I had to break away from the others and so to make fleeing quicker and more agile I rode her back." dimarex decided that was a good enough answer. "So why did they bring one of the Skul'Kerath conquerers along with their other members to attack our base? There must have been a good reason." zodack was silent for a few seconds. "I would like to keep that question held off for a while, thank you very much. Any other questions?" dimarex did nto understand. what reason could be so secret it had to be hiden from him? he was part of their clan. he swore it. what could he do that was so wrong? he didn't decide to press further and asked a few more questions. "Where are the others? I know they're heading towards the fortress, but why take a different route?..." "They are trying to gain a bit of distance from the Skul'Keraths to avoid any combat. I stayed behind so that I could find you as long as they hadn't gotten to you yet and take you along with us not only so you could continue your training but also so you wouldn't be left behind." "...Okay. So...What's the main plan for invading their fortress?" "Well we're going to try a stealth attack. First we're going to sneak inside and one by one snipe out the Skul'Kerath's. Until then, you and I will be training. Understood?" dimarex nodded and walked over to elasia who was calmly cleaning herself. her scales shined with golden brilliance and her wings and horns as well as claws and teeth were all a gleaming silver. then dimarex suddenly remembered. "Zodack? Do you remember my mother?" zodack stopped what he was doing. he turned to dimarex, his eyes burning. "Get some rest. We will ride immediately in the morning." dimarex refused. "Please answer my question, then I will get rest." "NOW!" why was he so reluctant? dimarex grunted and with a few curses fell silent and leapt up to elasia's back. she calmly shifted her head towards his. I hope you don't mind. It's fine. Sleep well. As well as you. and with that dimarex calmly spread out inbetween elasia's two enormous shoulders. dimarex watched the clouds swirling around the eclipse...the eclipse that meant it was night. The sol sphere glowed with the orb of dark, that in the other realm they would have called the moon, and as the half light glowed with its grey brightness, dimarex fell into the void called sleep.

Dimarex woke up. the air buffetted his face and clouds were sweeping over him. with his groggy vision he could make out a large golden plane and... he got up. he and zodack were both on elasia's back, enough space for at least twenty more men all around them. Good morning Dameus. Good morning... replied dimarex slurringly. it was obviously morning. "Perform the five basic spells. Now." dimarex turned and moaned. "Fine you old man. But if I pass out and fall its all because of you." Don't worry. I could just catch you in my mouth and wait until we touch down again. dimarex moaned even louder and stood up and stretched. a single twitch of elasias wings suddenly sent him falling down on her back. "You just have to do things like that don't you? Unh!" dimarex began to inch towards zodack and when they were close enough he started sorting through his thoughts and practicing the magicks he was taught. ... this continued on for a while. zodack would ask him to perform a certain magic and dimarex would reluctantly do so. elasia would sometimes comment of which dimarex would scowl and grudgingly crouch into a ball on elasia's back. finally after a manageble length elasia asked if it was good to land. zodack answered with a slow yes as he was paying attention to dimarex's conjuring elasia banked her wings and caught wind as she veered down and with a hard rumble of churning earth landed. dimarex and zodack were nearly thrown off of her as they were clinging with all their might to the nearest sticking out scale they could find. after she settled dimarex rolled off her side and hit the earth with a thud. he felt like vomiting. Are you two alright? dimarex took a few seconds and answered with his mind. he felt if he spoke he would see his breakfast again. Sure...not counting the fact that I feel like I will vomit... Good enough. zodack heartily laughed and leapt down and drew his blade. "Time for your melee practice." dimarex groaned and cursed lowly. he rose to his feet, clutching his chest with one arm. he drew his daggers then and got in a readily position. zodack swiftly dashed towards dimarex and with a hard whack knocked him back into a tree. dimarex winced as his head was still hurting from earlier. "Do you plan on killing me or something? GAH!" dimarex barely dodged the protruding blade from zodack as it struck the tree with an immense force. dimarex then took his blade and was about to strike zodack. five inches from him. zodack cut the tree suddenly with his blade in a horizontal slice and whacked dimarex in the back. tasting mud, dimarex met the ground. he suddenly burned with anger. "You love doing that don't you?" ... dimarex heard no answer. he slowly rose to his feet and turne-... ... everything was frozen in place... zodack was motionless, his blade coming down in a vertical slice. elasia's eyes were set staring in his position but did not twitch in the slightest. dimarex shifted a bit to his left. he examined. everything was black and white. nothing moved except for him. suddenly he heard something behind him. he whipped around.
Come...... ... dimarex did not move. what...what was speaking?...
Come...... ... he took a few steps towards where he was hearing the voice.
Come...... ...
"Where go ye!"
Come......
he had no choice. dimarex began walking towards the spot he heard the voice come from. he was trekking for minutes on end. he was afraid now that he was lost. he did not remember what direction he had come from. he followed the voice as it echoed through the woods with a steady beat. now he was guided by pure guessing. he just walked through and thought it might bring him to the voice. ...
dimarex reached a small clearing. it was foggy and the sky did not show through the trees. there was a grave in the middle. ... dimarex walked up to it. the voice was not heard any longer. ... he felt strange in this clearing that held a grave. he bent down and read the runes that were etched into it. ... 'Within the ever living earth, lying below this simple stone there lie a great man, his secrets untold, forever to lie here...dead and alone.
Forever dead yet always alive in our memories-- here lies Dameus Exavior' ... dimarex suddenly jerked away from the stone as the mist suddenly faded away and a dark figure began to appear across from him. ... it was one of the Skul'Kerath...he could see the symbol that was bore on its hood. dimarex backed away in fear and astonishment.
You must come, Dameus Exavior. Come...
dimarex shook his head in utter bewilderment. "Who are you?!"
What good would a name do? Come...
he did not approach the figure. "No! I am one of the Eck'Thaa. Leave now or I will have to dispose of you." ...
Then I shall be waiting...to kill you... ... dimarex was silent. who was this? Why...why did the grave said he was dead?!... Maybe it had something to do with time?
No, it does not.
dimarex was once again silent.
"Tell me who you are! NOW!"
the being raised his hands to his hood. it drew the hood back. ... Dimarex was staring at himself...but it was a pale face. its eyes were red and one eye was covered up by dark silver and jet black hair. the eye had a slit for a pupil and two slightly curved slits at the sides. they seemed to twitch and circle around the main pupil every so often. his hair was at an angle and death was the only thought that dameus could think of when he stared at the face. he couldnt stand looking at himself...this person that looked like him but wasnt even him!
Come...So that I may release the darkness...and kill you... suddenly the figure disappeared with a flick of his hand and with a blinding light was there no more. ... the grave suddenly disappeared and the fog died down as dimarex felt time seep back. ...
dimarex ran through the forest, dashing in whatever direction hoping to find zodack and elasia. he screamed out to them with his mind. ELASIA!! ZODACK!! WHERE ARE YOU?! he never got an answer. ...
it had been hours that dimarex was running through the forest. he never heard an answer from either of the two and he finally collapsed in a patch of moss. who was that? it couldnt have been him. this realm held no obelisk of time. it held nothing close to time itself. there had to be something to do with all this. he knew it could not be coincidence. ... suddenly everything opened up to dimarex. he never had realized this. this realm...it was opposite to the other... that meant...there was an opposite for everyone in this realm. though time itself may never be tampered...there is still some sort of way that... ... but how could that dameus be so different?!... ... they were alter egos. yet...they were the opposites of whoever they were related to. ... dameus suddenly flared with awareness. if that was his opposite...that meant... ... dimarex leapt to his feet and dashed in one direction through the forest. all of the trees were dead...grey leaves decorated the ground everywhere. mist was developing and the light from the sky was beginning to fade. all in all, night was approaching. fast. dimarex knew he could not find zodack or elasia, so he decided he would have to begin his own journey. he had to reach the skul'kerath fortress. if he could reach there and they could kill his alter ego, they could relinquish the land from what dimarex knew was about to commence. it all made perfect sense. ... but if this realm was destroyed... ... since it was the balance of the other realm... ... that meant if this realm was destroyed, so would the realm with all his friends. he had to stop this. he had to. and so he dashed through the forest, never stopping until he reached the outskirts of it. ...
dimarex finally reached an area with few trees. he thought it might be the edge if not close. he could see the clouds and the stars that peeked out from them. he used the spell zodack had taught him to reveal the north star and once he found it, he did a little algebrae and calculated which way he would have to travel. ... he had to head northwest. if he remembered from his last encounter with a map of this realm, this was the Yealth woods. they spanned for many leagues but were close enough to the fortress as it was. dimarex would be travelling for quite a while. he set up camp and noted which way he would travel in the morning. he took out his daggers and practiced on a tree for a little bit, waiting for sleep to warn him to crawl back onto the moss patch he had found. ...
he finished practicing for what he thought was a good amount. the tree was tattered to ribbons and ready to tip if disturbed the slightest. dimarex finally crawled onto the patch of moss and sleep blanketed him...and he welcomed it gratefully for the many days he knew were awaiting him ahead.

...
it was morning. Dimarex woke up and took a few practice swings. he then stretched his limbs until he felt as if they were crying for him to stop. he then picked up his few things and began a trek in the northwest direction.
this continued for days. dimarex could only hope he was going in the right direction. at every evening he would practice his melee and his magic until every ounce of his being ached with screaming pain. he tried to develop his mage skills so he could hold a fire for hours on end...to then faint from the exhaustion of his energy. every night his body burned with energy and surged with questions that never seemed to end. Who was that being?! He must learn more! ... he wished he had something to drain his questions into...something to speak to and know he was being listened. he took out his daggers while walking and began to talk to it. he gave them the names Uneth and Trideth, the friends he had heard so much about from some of his Eck'Thaa comrades. night after night he talked to Uneth and Trideth until he felt he had told them everything that resided within his mind. ... dimarex was terribly hungry. he had only found a few small ponds and gathered a few small animals over the course of many days. he was withered and horribly tired. he had been through tufts of forest every so often--but each was a manageable length for him to cross. every night he built a fire but all he got from it was light and warmth most of the time. if he was lucky he would have something to put over it and cook. this continued for many days.
in the end dimarex thought he had grown a little bit mentally instead of physically. he found that alone he could answer his questions good enough and he found it manageable to make something out of nothing. he was guessing that he was halfway towards the fortress of the Skul'Kerath. he hoped. either way, he was finding his personal training to be less stressing than his rigorous and deathly training with zodack. his daggers had many wood chips that stuck to the blade and it was stained with blood. his boots were now ragged and beginning to tear from the amount of land he had tracked. he knew if elasia and zodack pursued towards the fortress they would have been there days ago. ... and dimarex could only hope he was halfway. and so the process continued.
it had been about two and a half weeks now. dimarex was tattered and hunger ravaged every last inch of himself. his daggers were each bent and dull as his boots were torn to shreds. he was so tired and longed to rest but at the same time he had to pursue the fortress. that was the only way he may find some light of hope. his feet ached and he wished he could chop them off just to get rid of the horrible remindings that etched pain in his thoughts. splinters were all over him and he was cut and slashed by many brambles. his feet were nearly bare but he had an idea and strapped cloth to the bottom of them so he wouldnt scratch them up to horribly. his fingers were numb from the freezing cold. his mouth was bone dry and he longed for a sip of water. it hadn't rained for days and he slashed open grape vines before to find they had only a few drops to spare. he was hopefully close to the fortress. ... hopefully. all in all he didn't think he could survive one or two more days in his condition. his eyes were so heavy it took a noticeable amount of his energy to keep them open. he was so close to losing himself he worried he would every few seconds as his mind would play tricks on him. day after day he achily sat down and slept to wake up and take minutes of labor to get up to his feet and feel good enough to keep walking. ... he was walking achily through a small patch of trees. the clouds stormed every so often and he could hear claps of thunder ring with their loud booms. he prayed to the air that it would pour at least some rain... just something he could drink... ... hours passed and it taunted him with its dark grey fullness. he passed through thick brambles and crouched under certain points where the branches were to low for him to climb over. "i...cant...do this..." the wind roared in laughing protest. "what...kind of...gods...could do...this to me..." every word he said took many amounts of his energy to say. ...finally he couldn't endure it anymore. he collapsed and his mind fell into a black void that laughed at his own being. ...
*** ... "Get up." ... dimarex couldnt move a single inch of himself. "You heard me. Get up or you'll die in a different way than I planned. dimarex tried to open his eyes but he couldnt hardly. "Would you rather me kill you now and save myself the work or are you going to get up and eat something?" dimarex's eyes burst open. wordlessly he darted his gaze to find something he could eat or drink and as soon as he spotted something he leapt for it and feasted on what little he found. it was an amazing bowl of soup. he drank three waterskins full of fresh liquid that he had dreamed of for days. he ate and drank heartily and minutes later he finally came to attention. he turned his gaze and saw Zerith Guridon sitting across from him, sharpening dimarex's daggers and straightening them. zerith waited and demirex finally gained the strength to speak a few words if any. "Finally you have come..." "Yes. I am a man of my word and I always carry it out." "That is quite obvious. Zerith...Do you know anything about others and their alter egos from different realms? In fact... I have a few questions I would like to ask. Nobody trusts me in my clan. They don't tell me anything." zerith was silent for a few seconds and finally answered. "I'm answering a question right now am I not? Ask...But not too much please." dimarex nodded and started asking. "Are their alter egos for every person that are linked to this realm? ... Also, do you know the current positions of the Eck'Thaa clan? Do you know anything about someone called 'the elemancer' and lastly who was..." he couldn't remember the name of the darkest beast he had heard rarely from zodack. "Vesteroth? Vestilleroth?...I can't remember the name..." zerith took a few moments to gather all of this information. "There are alter egos for most people inbetween the two realms. The alter egos form when they near death..or die..but at the same time they gain their lives back. This is the realm where all of the exterior from true life is expelled and it formed into this realm we now reside in. Though most that are here were here to begin with. We weren't formed from anyone or anything. Simply we come from nothing basically. We are alive still are we not? So why not live life as it always was meant to be. "The current positions of the Eck'Thaa? No...but I suspect if they headed for anywhere they would have been there by now. The Elemancer...I never have heard of him. Someone from the other realm I bet... But I might have heard rumors...I just can't grasp the thoughts right now. Vesteroth?..." zerith paused and took a few seconds to answer. "I know little but not much. Vesteroth was the darkest being ever alive, that is known by all. He is the very basis of the dark orb. He was about to destroy both realms and make all life disappear as we knew. The gods could not stand up to his power. He was unstoppable. Yet in the end there were five warriors that stood up against this evil being. With their powers they ensealed this dark being, they could not hurt him. they could not destroy him. He was the most powerful and they were about to die as soon as they faced him... But they summoned the one power that could equalize them with him if for a moment. they summoned the power of life. The power of hope and the basis of all living things as we knew. With their powers each were gifted with, they slew the monster--yet not physically. they sealed him within this realm. They sealed him through the mirror. yet he still had whim against them. the being ravaged the life within this realm and it lasted for ages until finally one warrior stood against him and with his power both sides of the realms joined forces and sealed every last ounce of Vesteroth's power into one single purely dark orb. if one touched this orb he would become a shadow. he would become corrupted and it would be too strong for him to contain. he would die. this was the orb that we knew of that the necromancer, the incarnate of Vesteroth, took and from it he gained power of twilight. it was then that this realm became warped and tainted by the power of half light and our lives were changed forever. Vesteroth though, overtime, broke free of the chains that binded him and it was then that he released his dark power upon us. it was then that zodack and the Eck'Thaa were able to keep him at bay... if only for a while. that is when the Skeleton Riders, the Skul'Keraths as you call them, stepped in. they were beings who were not corrupted by rather possesed. in the end they were going to revive this being to his full potential and destroy this realm and yours along with it. This would end all life and complete the whims of Vesteroth. That is all I know so far." dimarex was silent and patient through all of this. it was hard to take it. the fact that all of this had happened. "But now, if that is all you have to ask, I am afraid I will have to kill you." ...dimarex went pale. he did not think he trained enough to face zerith and stand a chance. he knew this time no mercy would be spared. dimarex took his daggers from zerith gratefully and stood valiantly. "I will fight if it is in your desire. But heed my words, would you not want to save this realm? What good are you really committing if you merely kill off whoever you are told to kill? Would you really take blade and kill one who is trying to help this world...or just kill off whoever you are paid the most to kill off and all in the end everyone will die... It is your decision, Zerith...I cannot stop you." zerith was silent. "This world will die in the end. It's power is already withering as darkness still reigns through all. Realize that within these realms...All will die. I am just here to live life to the fullest until then." dimarex was silent. "Then let us fight..." "Aye, let us fight." they both stanced and finally with a flash of blades began to duel...

((Rising up, back on the street, took my time, took my chances. Went the distence now I'm back on my feet, just a man and his will to survive. Too many times, it happens to fast, you trade your passion for glory. Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past, you must fight just to keep them alive. It's the Eye of the Tiger it's the thrill of the fight, rising up to the challenge of our rivals, and the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night, and his virtue must always be eye.....of the tiger. I love that song too now. Gah))

dimarex locked blades with zerith and they were held in that position for a few seconds. finally they unlocked and were sent flying away from eachother. dimarex leapt towards zerith with his daggers brandished and zerith leapt at him. they tried to ravage the other but to no avail each blow was parried. once again they pushed off and were sent flying in opposite directions. once dimarex landed he was already about to be barraged by zerith. dimarex crouched low and pushed himself foward and narrowly dodged the incoming blows-- to be struck in the back by a blade. "You are still not trained enough...Pitiful." zerith took out his dagger and kicked demirex into the ground and shoved him into a rock. "You leave me yet again the decision to walk away and approach you again once you are ready. I refuse to kill one who is weak.... But you did better this time." dimarex was left hunched over a rock on the ground, helpless as he was barraged and ravaged by the edges of zeriths blades. "Train...and soon I will pursue. Oh, and if you were wondering... You were headed in the wrong direction." with that zerith disappeared suddenly, leaving demirex in the open, his flesh ravaged and his mind scarred. ...
*** ... Dameus...? dimarex woke with a start. he heard elasia... but he could not see her...where did she... Dameus?! her cry was desperate. where was she?! he tried calling out with his mind. I'm here... suddenly he was barraged by dark fear and sadness from elasia. DAMEUS!! the force of her mind hurt dimarex's and he faded out for a few seconds. DAMEUS WHERE ARE YOU?! TELL ME!!! ... ...I'm somewhere on a rock...I don't know for sure... she could have been leagues away. miles on end. but... he hoped she wasn't. he needed answers and was helpless lying on the rock. Don't worry...I'm looking for you... Where's zodack?... she was silent. He...he was lost in a mighty storm. I last saw him the day after you disappeared...Don't worry I'm going to find you. Hang in there. I...I hope he's alright... Dameus! For once just care about yourself! Right now you are the only one you should be worrying about! he did not answer. ...I'm sorry. You just...You just don't seem to care about the you in general. You seem to care only about others. Dameus...I just want you to know you're okay. Are you hurt or anything? dimarex did not feel like answering her truly. I'm fine. ...I hope you're not lying. dimarex could hear her faint thuds of her wings in the distance. ...I...I am very weary...If you don't mind... It is fine Dameus. I just hope you're okay. he was already sound asleep.
dimarex woke up, suddenly moaning as he felt the ravenous hunger scream at him even though he had a small bowl of soup the day before. You lied. dimarex turned his head and saw Elasia's enormous Flaming golden amber eyes stare into his. I'm fine. I was just hungry and that's it. No. Not just that. Your body was ravaged, torn, and beaten on your journey over here. You are far from the fortress. I hope that was where you were headed. dimarex nodded slightly, the best he could. Good. You still havent had hardly anything to eat. I caught you some game and I hope you eat it and don't suddenly say you do not need it and pay the price of death. dimarex laughed softly. It's not funny, Dameus. You have done this to yourself and were about to pay the price. I luckily found you after days of searching. dimarex fell silent. ...I'm sorry... Once again, caring about others and none of it headed towards yourself. ... If I release you, do you swear you will take at least a small amount of pity towards yourself and willingly eat and not feel like helping others rather than putting yourself first in the face of deaths embrace? Sure... dimarex was then released from the embrace of Elasia's enormous warm silver wing. I cooked a bit of the ham for you with my flames. While I was in training, I matured enough to be able to blow flame. I still practice it every so often. dimarex silently crawled towards a sort of 'cut' (if you could call it that)piece of cooked ham. he noticed bits that were sliced roughly into smaller pieces and silently ate them one by one. finally once he was done he picked up a bowl of water that was next to him and he drank deeply from it. wiping his mouth, he slowly got to his feet but staggered and toppled over onto elasia. You need to regain your stamina. Rest for today, we have a long journey ahead. There has been a big change in plans. Like what? Well...one of the clansman was found riding towards us, badly wounded. he told us of how they lost in a small skirmish against one of the cerberus beasts. It seems Vesteroth is once again gripping the land. He warned us to seek help from the other tribes and then we should pursue the Skul'Kerath. first of all it will be a heavy feat to reach each tribe. Then the fact of convincing them to join us in battle. And last... We have no guidance to any of these. dimarex at this suddenly realised there was a big risk at this. they were a small group of one half trained warrior and a newly matured wyvern. What chance would they stand against a small force from each of these tribes if they were to resist speaking and they attacked?... dimarex shuddered at the thought and moved to set up a fire. he bundled up some twigs in a pile and just as he was about to light them elasia prevented him. You are too weak right now. Rest and let me do it. reluctantly, dimarex pulled away and moved towards her side as she blew fire into the large bundle of twigs. once the bundle of twigs was burning like an inferno, alight with the dancing flames, elasia curled around dameus and closed him in with her wing. Tell me what happened to you. Why did you suddenly disappear? This I would like to know. You have a grand amount of explaining to converse with me about. dimarex took a few minutes to remember every single detail of his journey ever since time halted in the middle of his battle between zodack. he explained every single detail to elasia, leaving out no details whatsoever. she soaked it up like a sponge and commented every so often and asked a few questions on random things that had to do with what happened of which dimarex would answer to the best of his ability. So...You say...this being that looked like you...he froze time in the middle of your battle with zodack and called to you to come... and then he would 'release the darkness'?... What could that mean... dimarex turned his head away. he had never told her about his mark he had only so long ago... how he was possessed and became the necromancer... he never told her any of it. Dameus? dimarex sighed deeply and stared at the ground. Is there something you haven't told me that you feel would be best to say now? I would like to hear it if you do. dimarex finally gave in and explained to her everything about him and how he bore the mark of the corruption... on how he was the necromancer to be so long ago... and about how his alter ego had to have had it... and by release the darkness...it meant bring back the necromancer... and possibly restore Vesteroth to his full power and relinquish him from his prison. ...Why did you never tell me this?! I...I didn't want to tell you...I don't even like to think about it...I am hated by everyone because of it now...Everyone in the other realm that is...I...Basically... dimarex fell silent and closed his eyes, not wanting to speak anymore. he hated bearing the thought. Dameus...If you told me I wouldn't have done anything but encourage you more on expelling the thoughts that haunt you. Don't rely on yourself. You have friends and you should speak to them about these things. I know...I just can't...I don't want them to suffer for my actions...even actions that I myself never commited or wanted to happen... Once again thinking about others over yourself. You promised me you would not do that for n- I DON'T CARE!!! I WOULD RATHER THEM SURVIVE OVER ME BECAUSE I IN THE END COULD EVEN BE THE CAUSE OF THEIR DEATHS!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS LIVING WITH THAT THOUGHT? KNOWING THAT IF THE END OF THE WORLD WERE TO BEFALL IT WAS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU? I ASKED FOR NONE OF THIS!!! NONE OF THIS!!! AND WHAT IS THE CRIME IN CARING MORE ABOUT THEIR SURVIVAL THAN YOUR OWN? I'VE BEEN FINE UP TO THIS POINT HAVEN'T I?!.......... ..... The last time...I did...Sh....She..........d-.....di..... dimarex fell silent and was swept away by sorrow and finally washed away by his sadness. elasia did not speak as he wept. finally she lowered her head towards his and closed him in fully with her long neck, resting her head on dimarex's. It's okay, Dameus...That isn't you anymore...This I know... dimarex couldn't stop weeping and elasia held him tighter every minute. finally he was so tired and worn from expending his energy he fell into sleep. the entire time he could feel elasia's mind warmen his from its antarctic state. soothing him. and finally dimarex fell into a dream. and he rested deeply within elasia's embrace. sleepily acknowledging his wyvern friend that would never abandon him. the only friend he had in this realm. the only one he could speak to truly...unlike he could to others. and he was glad for once. glad... in a world full of darkness.

Dimarex woke up. the sol sphere was shining in the center of the dark grey cloudy sky. this was when they would have to begin their journey to the other races today. the eck'thaa had lost in their attempts... and they were all that was left from all they knew. *OOOOOOOOOOOOOOKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! LET ME SUM EVERYTHING UP RIGHT NOW!!!!!! i will leave about fifteen to twenty reserved posts on here for me to continue in this realm!!! IT WOULD REALLY HELP EVERYONE if i did this so that we could move onto the site update without waiting forever for me to finish this so im going to leave those posts reserved so i can go back and post about the entire experience in this realm but for now in this post its going to be as if it already happened and this is what happens--the last post will be this-- * Dameus stood in front of the enormous Demonic Skeletal Behemoth that lay inches from him. he felt rage....rage from everything that pained this world...everything that had suffered...all that had been destroyed. all that had been maimed...all that had been tortured...the rage consumed him, flaring and writhing inside of him. his hand tightly closed on the trident, he turned his gaze from the ground into the dark horrid eyes of the ravenous revana. suddenly flaming prominence writhed around him as the ghostly figure of a dragons head appeared around him. dimarex, with a dark gaze, pointed the trident so its prongs would face the behemoth.
[glow=orange,2,300]Beast from the depths of the never ending abyss of oblivion...As darkness may take grip, I will make sure there is still a force to stop you[/glow]
his voice sounded as if he were being possessed by many powerful beings. when he spoke he spoke with powerful voices... the voices of the gods. his eyes flared flaming white and the wrath of his pity on the world engulfed him and he leapt at the beast, his trident gleaming with the divine prominence.
[glow=black,2,300]Fool...This universe will be destroyed by my power...Nothing can stop this strength that I grip with... You will die this day as will the rest of all life...Its roots of hope...peace...serenity...all will burn from my dark might.[/glow]
(please refer to random chit chat page 135 or 136 and look for my post thats in gold lettering for what dameus says at this moment. its the prophecy.)
and as dimarex charged at the beast, valiant with his love for life in this dark world... the gods lent him his might as dameus released his being... he released it into the heavens... and as the gods seized his willing spirit, with a brilliant light an enormous sphere brimming with radiant gold... the light silently consumed the world as not a sound streamed through. in the other realm the light could be seen as well...as they both suddenly were sucked into the radiance and time nearly reset itself... the gods formed with dameus's spirit a bright future that would have a glimmering light of faint hope... ... and into the world they brought heroes... the guardians came to life in their resting places around the glowing earth... and all life halted for mere moment....and all was suddenly.... ... *** *Everyone has appeared in the Fervarok fortress*))
