Outside the Gate[Raven/Kage/Anybody]

[Raven]

Raven walked calmly through the streets. Even the odd looking man that had been following her did not cause a feeling of fear. The man closed in on her and reached for a pouch tied to her waist. Without thinking she drew her hidden long sword and pressed it against his neck. Sweat flowed down the man's face as he whimpered, like a dog.

ooc-Bleh, a little bit of a short post that is not very good. X.x

[Willow]

Kageshin looked up and the falcon landed lightly on his shoulder. He still ignored it for the most part and stood. He laid the sword over his other shoulder and the falcon shot forward, screaming. Kage took off into a sprint and stopped at the edge of the alley. "Hey!" He ahouted. He looked from the thief to the girl, who had a determined look on her face. "Hey!" he repeated.

The thief looked up pleadingly at him, but Kageshin rolled his eyes. "What's going on?"

[Raven]

Raven growled. "This man tried to take my pouch." She had always hated thieves. Her family had a gory record with dealing with them. She slightly turned her gaze to look at the stranger. "And don't try to make me let him go without something to show for it."

[Willow]

Kage cuffed the thief around the head and sent him sprawling onto the cobblestone. "There's something to show for it." The falcon hit Kageshin on the head with one wing and kept going. Kage snarled at it, rubbed his hair and watched the thief scramble into the alleys. He looked back at Raven and sized her up. "Who're you? Kinda rough for a girl, aren't you?"

[Raven]

"I am 'ruff' enough," she said strongly, but she smiled and curtsied. "Before I tell you my name, I think I should know yours." Raven paused for a moment to think and then smiled. "It would be appropriate."

[Willow]

"I suppose," Kageshin mused. "Kageshin. Or just Kage." He relaxed his grip slightly on the blade and glanced upward at the falcon. Ah well. Ilan comes and goes. Kage shrugged it off. "Now may I know your name?"

[Raven]

She smiled. "Yes, I am Raven." She put her hand on her hip. "And why are you in this town, if you don't mind my asking."

[Willow]

"Selling a few things. Buying a few things." Kage shrugged. "Little bit of everything. Then I'm heading for the forests. Maybe the mountains later on.." Kageshin stopped. "I'm rambling."

Ilan the falcon was sitting several buildings away, watching the mountains intently. Something flashed and Ilan screamed. Kage looked up irritably.

[Raven]

"Sounds interesting. I'll I do is train and do 'a woman's work'." She pouted. "Now I'm the one rambling..."She paused for awhile. "Can I come with you?"

bic-Kage was slightly startled. "I suppose. I don't really see why not." Kage looked at the market. "We better get going though. I don't stay in the cit at night if I can help it." Ilan's restless. Why?

[Raven]

She nodded. "I understand. Are we to leave now? Or is there something else you have to do? Because if you have something else to do I'll wait. But if you don't can we just leave because the city can be dangerous like you said." She stopped suddenly and blushed with embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I'm rambling again..."

[Willow]

ooc- I g2g. You type to slow, or mom is crazy. There is no way that took an hour.

[Willow]

"It's fine. You can come." Kage turned to the right and took off down the street, blade in a strap from shoulder to shoulder. Ilan shot overhead and Kage glanced nervously up before heading for the market.

[Raven]

ooc-it took an hour...And I'm to slow. *waves* see you!

bic-Raven took a deep breath and brushed aside some of her hair. "Lets just hope we can get out of her as soon as possible."

[Willow]

ooc-Here. Not her.. In less than an hour, I'm going to wisconsin. Gah. I MIGHT be able to get on there, but It'll be at least until tommorrow. Gah. See you everyone.

bic-Kage nodded. "I've never been to the mountains up here. It should be interesting." Kage took off at a lope towards the markets and seeked the nearest merchant.
